He sustituido las Gibson 57 classic y classic plus que tenía en mi Les Paul por estas SD Slash Pro y la verdad es que el cambio ha sido muy bueno.Las 57 están bien pero yo las veo más en un SG, en parte porque la tapa de estas atenúa mucho, que en una Les Paul. Con las nuevas la guitarra ha ganado en definición, dulzura, salida y potencia. Y no solo son para tocar sonidos « Slash », en Blues y Rock clásico en general se salen. Estoy encantado con ellas.Pastillazas, el único pero que les puedo poner es que al ser de 2 hilos no se puede hacer Coil, Split con ellas.

Great sound and easy to install
I bought this set to put in my Fender Jaguar Blacktop as the stock pickups sounded quite muddy and dull and didn’t really suit the type of music that I wanted to play. In comparison, these sound a lot brighter yet still quite warm.The pickups come with a single wiring diagram which shows you how to hook them up. This is fine if you’ve got a standard Les Paul wiring, but for anything else (like my Fender, which has a single tone and volume control) then you’ll need to get another one. This isn’t a problem as the Seymour Duncan website is fantastic and all you need to do is enter your desired configuration on the website and it’ll produce a suitable wiring diagram. I went for having two volume controls in the end.A word of warning however – quite often SD pickups come with multiple wires coming out of them and the wiring diagrams show how to wire these up. The APH-2s are only single conductor and only have one braided wire coming from them. This makes the wiring simpler, although you do need to solder the wire braid to the metal casing of your pots, which will require patience and a good quality soldering iron and solder. As a consequence of having a single conductor, you can’t have some fancy configurations like coil tapping with push/pull pots.This set makes a great upgrade and I’m really happy with my new sound. It makes a fantastic weekend project for anyone looking to make their guitar a little more personal, and even a first-timer won’t have much difficulty installing them.

Best pickup out there.
This is my forth set of APH2 slash pickups. Tried a set of pearly gates in my PRS. Sounded awful. Way too bright so went back to these. Now the guitar sounds thick and juicy again. Thx to solo music for taking the pearly gates back.

Habe die PUs in eine Gibson SG eingebaut, nachdem ich längere Zeit überlegt und gesucht hatte.Die Wahl fiel auf die Slash- Signature PUs, weil ich den Slash- Sound mag, insbesondere den singenden Hals PU.Ich muss sagen, dass die PUs einen für meinen Geschmack super Sound machen. Der Steg PU sägt richtig schön, klingt in der SG schön rotzig und setzt sich super durch, der Hals PU hat mehr Mitten und klingt schön cremig und dick.Fazit: Auch in der SG mit weniger Holz und ohne Aorndecke eine tolle Kombination.Hinweis: der Hals- PU hat eine höhere Ausgangsleistung und ist daher etwas lauter. Das ist aber nichts, was man mit der Höheneinstellung nicht hinbekommt.Empfehlenswert!

Du slash
Monté sur une lp 60s epiphone et ayant testé les micro alnico pro II par le passé, je suis entièrement satisfait. Il y a une légère différence avec les modèles classiques notament pour le micro manche qui est plus rond. Vous ne payez pas que pour le nom de slash sur des alnicos mais pour une différence de son, il reste quand même identifiable en tant que sonorité slashienne.

De très bons micros !
J’ai acheté ces micros pour remplacer les micros ESP d’origine montés sur une Edwards Lp-S. Je trouvais ces micros trop « cliniques » et criards… question de goût. Les Seymour Slash ont changé la donne en apportant une belle personnalité sonore à cette bonne guitare : un son bien chaud au micro manche, une position intermédiaire bien équilibrée et un micro manche incisif et agressif dans le bon sens du terme. Les 2 micros présentent de jolis médiums et ça fait chanter la guitare. Bref, du type vintage oui, mais qui envoie et qui a de la réserve ! Et bien sûr, on peut faire autre chose que du Slash ! Évidemment si vous voulez sonner comme lui, vous aurez une base , mais indépendamment du grain des micros, ils permettront de donner de la vie à votre son. De quoi transformer une Lp avec des micros moyens en une guitare qui sonne assurément ! Excellent choix pour ma part !

Micros impeccables, attention il n’y a que la masse et le point chaud à souder donc pas de possibilité de spliter mais c’est ceux que je voulais, et quel son!!! Wouah…Je recommande vivement sans hésiter.

J’ai installé c’est micros sur ma les Paul soit disant pour avoir un son plus chaud, et bien grosse surprise, rien a voir avec m est micros d’origine.Sa sonne creux, j’ai moin de medium que ceux d’origine et beaucoup moins de précision sur le son .Du coup j’ai vite remonter m’est micro d’origine de la les Paul .J’ai branché la gratte et la pas photos.M est franchement très déçu du aux nombreux commentaires.Voilà je vais les revendre a perte , m’est je ne garde pas c est micros.A votre propre expérience.Salutations.

Brilliant tone
Put these into a Tokai Love Rock to replace the stock mk-2 which could be a little muddy but still had great tone. Not as big a change as expected but some subtle improvements – amazing clarity, really bright and much more bite. Plugged into a Marshall dsl5c – loads of snarl, a little feedback and definitely seem to get more sustain.

Review of Amazon Warehouse for buying these pups
I’ve used Amazon Warehouse a number of times – in fact I prefer it because even where it says ‘item may have cosmetic damage’ you usually get a brand new looking item cheaper. However a word of caution here – because were it not for the distinctive look of the Slash set I would be on my way to GuitarGuitar right now to get these mystery pickups fitted. The slash set has a silver base, braided metal wire and Slash signature on the underside where there are long poles too. The set I just received are some sort of mystery zebra covered set and I’m returning them. It’s a slightly unfair review as I can see the difficulty for Amazon as the branding is on the box (typically) and the pickups are in the box – but it’s a warning to others. These were 142 which is 120 cheaper than new – but I think I need to bite the bullet and buy new.

Definitely sounds like Slash’s tone!
I’m not going to write up an extremely detailed review as it has already been done many times here already. My review would likely sound just like them.On both the clean and distorted channels on my Fender Superchamp it sounds almost identical to Slash’s tone on the Appetite for Destruction album. Using it with Amplitube on my iPad it sounds just as great over headphones. They even work very well with Rocksmith 2014 on PC.I use 500k pots for both volumes, a single 500k for tone, with an orange drop plus treble bleed kit on an ESP Eclipse II custom (mahogany body w/ maple neck).These pickups are standard humbucker wiring pushback cloth with braided shield style and you cannot coil split them.Very happy I finally made the purchase! I’ve been staring at them for years now.

Amazing tone and versatility!
The neck pickup is absolutely beautiful with the right amount of thick tone and punch. It also sounds even better when you add more gain and doesn’t get muddy at all. I have a chibson les paul and I went with the 50s wiring and it makes the bridge pickup sound so buttery good hooked up with my orange crush mini…it has that old time vintage sound with attitude to describe it best. Honestly I do miss my super distortion and I’m not going to lie because I can’t get it to scream so I wouldn’t recommend this for that darker beefier metal scream most fast paced players like…but in the end I never regretted buying these pups and I will keep them forever.

Allora….. Sono 3 anni ormai che li ho installati sulla mia gibson les paul standard, sostituendo i burstbucker di serie…. Sono strafelice di averli montati, non fanno rimpiangere i vecchi PU. Assolutamente straordinari, perfettamente bilanciati, decisamente piu versatili dei sostituti. Molto piu centrati sulle medie frequenze. Adesso posso ottenere sonorità dal bluesy al heavy solo utilizzando il controllo del tono. Aggiungo facilissimi da montare e solidi nella manifattura come seymour duncan vuole. Comprateli se volete mantenere il « suono » gibson ma con piu versatilità. Non ve ne pentirete!!!

Pickup strepitosi, suono di Slash ottenibile solo con Amplitiube
Questi pickup sono stratosferici, suonano proprio come Slash ma ci sono alcune premesse da fare. Nessuno amplificatore o testata + cassa vi faranno raggiungere il reale suono di Slash. Da anni cerco l’accoppiata perfetta ma non esiste a meno che non siate disposti a spendere cifre incredibilmente alte per acquistare la versione Marshall AFD100 Slash e una serie infinita di pedali per fare prove e controprove. Anche una testata JCM 800 moddata su specifiche della testata #34 fungerà, ma si può solamente noleggiare e nemmeno in Italia.Per fortuna l’impulse response di questo ampli è presente nel pacchetto Slash di Amplitube, questo è per ora il miglior suono che sia mai riuscito ad ottenere da questi pickup, fedele a quello di Slash al 95%. Sembra di suonare nell’album Appetite for Destruction.Quindi chiudo dicendo che questi pickup sono ciò che ci vuole per imitare Slash ma se non avere l’amplificazione adatta, il semplice cambio pickup non vi farà sembrare Slash.

Slash sound!
Che dire questi pick up parlano da soli, li ho scartati e montati su una les paul di tipo economica, potete capire la qualità dei legni ma nonostante questo i pick up Slash signature sono ottimi e inimitabili, Seymour Duncan da sempre costruisce degli ottimi pick up e sono una garanzia. Il suono sul canale pulito è bilanciato e tende a spingere le medie e alte frequenze sia sul bridge che sul neck, ha un ottimo sustain, quando si passa al canale distorto oltre alle caratteristiche già descritte si aggiunge il feedback con l’amplificatore. Tutte le caratteristiche descritte dipendono molto dal magnete che esercita un basso potere coercitivo,l’alnico II, la resistenza di ogni singola bobina, l’impedenza di ciascun pick up e il tipologia di assemblaggio di ogni singolo elemento del pick up. Questi tipi di pick up li consiglio non solo per chi vuole fare rock ma anche per altri generi musicali. Il pacco è arrivato in largo anticipo, tre giorni prima, ben imballato. All’interno della scatola ci sono le istruzioni per il montaggio con le viti e le molle, l’assemblaggio si fa in 15 minuti. Sono molto soddisfatto. 😉

Las segundas mejores de Seymour
De lo mejor de seymour, tengo otra guitarra con unas Seth Lover que para mi son las mejores pastilla de Seymour, pero estas estarían en segundo lugar, puro rock & roll, sonido potente y limpio. Las tengo puestas en una epiphone lo classic con toda la electrónica cambiada y el sonido es increíble. Por poner una pega… las veo un poco caras

Seymour Duncan Slash PUPs
I bought these to replace the Seymour Duncan Vintage ’59s in a mahogany bodied LP style guitar with a 3/4″ maple cap, thru-body neck and ebony fretboard – a very bright guitar!The ’59’s were too bright with their Alnico 5 magnets, so I picked a pup set with Alnico 2 magnets (for less treble) and a little extra on the windings to improve the output.These have transformed the guitar tone and I can’t recommend them highly enough – but remember; guitar tone is a very personal thing, otherwise we’d all be playing the same cloned guitar…

Beim Hals PU geht echt die Sonne auf, wertet mein LP Studio deutlich auf und macht viel viel Freude. Am Steg sehr hart und mittig unterwegs, das ist für vieles der Hammer aber mag so manchem auch zu dreckig rüber kommen. Ich bin noch nicht durch mit der Meinungsbildung … vielleicht ist mir da ein PU mit mehr Fett in den Bässen lieber. Spiele noch etwas mit dem Tone Poti, mal sehen

A great set of pickups. If you have a Les Paul and a Marshall amp, a set of these will get you THAT tone. The neck pickup is especially sweet, and really nails the « Sweet Child o Mine » tone. Best set of pickups I’ve ever had in a guitar, well worth the money!

Ho ancora la mia prima chitarra, una Les Paul della Epiphone comprata 13 anni fa. Mi sono deciso, dopo tutto questo tempo, e anche per valore affettivo, di dargli una « seconda giovinezza », facendo upgrade vari. Ma in primis avevo messo gli occhi su questi pickup e mi sono deciso a comprarli. Il risultato? Sbalorditivo! Ricchi di sfumature e con un ottima « spinta », equilibrati e brillanti sia sul pulito che sul distorto. Ora che li ho montati, non penso che tornerò più indietro.

Einbau war auch für mich als Einsteiger super easy. Sobald man etwas mit einem Lötkolben umgehen kann, keine Probleme. Hab die Humbucker in meine alte Epiphone Les Paul eingebaut und diese hat dadurch einiges an Brillianz und Klarheit, vorallem bei verzehrten Akkorden dazu gewonnen. Bin sehr zufrieden.

FANTASTIC PICKUPS!
I purchased these pickups to replace my stock Gibson 57 Classic and 57 Plus. In short, I was rewiring and replacing the pots in them from the stock push-push with split coils to a standard Les Paul. I ran into all kinds of difficulty being that the 57 pickups were four conductor. I contacted Gibson and got the schematics however they still didn’t work. So, I purchased the Seymour Duncan APH-2s Alnico II Pro Slash Set Humbucker Pickups. I am very satisfied with these pickups! They sound amazing both clean and when distorted. They are very similar to the stock pickups however the do seem to have more clarity. They are alnico II which is the same as the 57s. I am also very satisfied with the company that I purchased them from. The order and shipping process was excellent!
